10.15-10.18

We have been working with identifying matter as part of this beginning of unit 2. This past week we have worked extensively with the physical property of matter: DENSITY! The upcoming week we will explore more with density. Students will have to be able to calculate to find density as well as relate how mass and volume both affect the density of an object. We will do a liquid layers lab to investigate the densities of some liquids and how things that are more/less dense behave. Towards the end of the week we will be focusing on some other physical (and chemical) properties of matter.
